Episode #3 features Mark “Rizzn” Hopkins of Mashable, who has recently begun a video podcast series on his personal site about all things Semantic Web, AI and robotics, with a healthy dose of ye olde social media thrown in for good measure;)
In the episode we start off by discussing the MSFT-Powerset acquisition, as well as the drunken revelry that inevitably ensued (paging Owen Thomas…) We then segue into talking about the state of AI, the relationship between AI and the Semantic Web (from both a programming and a marketing perspective), and where we are today with both, especially as compared to just 2-3 years ago.
Thanks to Mark Hopkins for being our guest, it was a great conversation, and we particularly appreciated his unique perspective as someone who knows the space intimately, but is coming back to it after somewhat of a hiatus, making for a really nice exercise in compare and contrast.

Thanks for listening!
